Very quick post, I found a new farm about a 10 minute drive away that has properly pastured poultry, eggs and rabbits.
“Asgard Farm is a small family owned and operated, pasture-based farm. We produce free-range eggs, pastured broilers, heritage turkeys, goose, duck and rabbit. All of our products are chemical/ medication/hormone free and produced under Joel Salatin’s Polyface Farm models.”
Joel Salatin is most certainly on my hero list and is doing amazing things to improve not only the health of humans and animals, but the health of the actual earth itself. He only uses sustainable methods that enrich the earth, not suck it dry like conventional factory farming does (while killing us in the process.) The interview below is the first of a 5 part series with Joel Salatin where he talks about his views of the current condition of farming (and how it MAKES NO SENSE.)

I really enjoyed reading your blog this morning. It is hard to break old habits, but even little changes seem to help. Trying hard to cut out bread, pasta and desserts. Not easy!
