Meal Ideas

Probably the most common question I get asked is “Well ok, I’ll give the damn paleo thing a try, what the hell do I eat?” I decided to put together 30 days of paleo recipes to make things easier on people. All these recipes are from free online resources that also have amazing cookbooks for sale which you can find in The Store I’ve put together. Anddd all these meals produce amazing leftovers, so this list will last you much longer than just your intro-to-paleo month. These are not Whole30 approved recipes, some ask for almond flour, fatty dairy and other hotly debated paleoish foods. I’m putting together a strict paleo 30 days worth of meals next, but I should probably be spending more time on school work than this blog…

Breakfast

Number 1 best breakfast: leftovers from lunch and dinner. Learn to love leftovers. The steak and potatoes you had for dinner last night is a great breakfast.

Bacon (fried, baked, microwaved, grilled…) and Eggs (scrambled, easy over, hard boiled, fried, sunny side up, soft-boiled, poached, benedicted, omeletted…) 36 different combinations among those alone. When you get bored of bacon, switch to steak, then sausage (chicken, beef, turkey, pork)… Start your day with protein and you will feel great and have control of your hunger all day.

Snacks

Limit snacking…obviously. Do not eat most snacks for any main meals, most of these would actually be considered “cheats” but I hate that connotation with food so keep yourself honest. Don’t snack for a healthier 30 days of paleo, you will feel better even quicker. You know when you’re making fudge, daily, that you’re going overboard. The less you snack, the better you will probably feel but I also want to help people retain their sanity.
